3D PRINTED
MICKEY MOUSE PUMPKIN

I designed this pumpkin to push the boundaries of printing organic shapes with dual-nozzle fused deposition modeling. Using Fusion 360, I meticulously modeled and rendered all six components as T-spline features. I encountered some challenges along the way, with three prints failing due to experiments exploring different support geometries. The final nine-inch-tall pumpkin required more than 80 hours of 3D printing. I also exercised PLA finishing techniques by priming, sanding, and painting the assembled piece.
