PAD PRINTER TENDING

While on the Detailed Mechanical Design team at Rapid Robotics, I adapted the hardware from an AUBO i5 automated pad printing task to operate with Rapid's innovative Smart Setup feature. I increased the nest's part placement allowance by incorporating an actuated aluminum corner, redesigned the end-of-arm tooling, and completed the bill of materials. I also collaborated with the Director of Computer Vision to establish a simplified methodology for calculating the necessary transform and quaternion values.
